The ideal time is within 5–14 days after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and easier to pose for those adorable newborn portraits.

Most sessions last between 1 to 3 hours, depending on the type of photoshoot and allowing plenty of time for feeding, changing, and keeping your baby comfortable.
